Our background

We (Ton, Reina and Glenn Grimbergen) are the face and beating heart of a real family business called KWEKERIJ ALPHA. The former took their first steps as independent entrepreneurs in the nursery trade at the end of the nineties with an uncovered cultivation of perennials on approximately 1 ha in Leimuiden. Many years later an expansion followed with approximately 1 ha of covered cultivation in De Kwakel. Here the foundation was laid for what our nursery stands for today, namely growing many types of bedding plants (mixes) throughout the year in large zinc bowls and larger pot sizes.With the arrival of Glenn in January 2021, the location in De Kwakel was disposed of and moved into the current location of approximately 4 hectares at Oosterlandweg 37D in Mijdrecht
